Duct Sealing DIY Center for More Efficient Homes and Lower Bills (DSDCMEHLB)

FACT: Studies show a 1" square hole in your ducting can equal as much energy loss as a 20" square hole in your house. (translation: one duct disconnected = one window open 24/7)

Here at Green Team Headquarters, we have a personal belief that empowering the homeowner not only saves you money on labor intensive tasks, but is the RIGHT thing to do. Duct sealing takes little to no skill what-so-ever; it is time, well, to be fair, IN a crawlspace or attic and since these are often somewhat hostile places to be in; here is a good rule to live by.

  1. Take baby-steps. No one is ever going to enjoy a good frolic in a crawlspace, so take this project in small chunks and allow yourself to make progress with out proclaiming, "I will never go under the house again!". If you do this your chance of success goes up exponentially.
Below we have listed a number of resources for you to get started. Keep in mind that we can also do all this for you.
