"Wes asked me to comment on our install. What can I say? It was a real cliff hanger, literally. It will forever remain a mystery how workers could balance, transport and place the heat pump on such a hillside. Nothing difficult is ever easy, but it was accomplished by the Barron Heat Brigade. The inside placement wasn't easy either - kind of a ship in a bottle situation there. It is installed in an impossible tiny space that looks like the house must have been built around the heating unit. Amazing work! Now, after all that heroic effort, it feels like we don't even have a heating/cooling system! We never hear it come on and never feel a change in temperature. We just have a constant inside climate with no hint of how it is done. I guess you can teach an old house new tricks! Our new heat pump is what I call cool heat. Way cool.
